GLENDALE, Wis. – The South Dakota State women's tennis team claimed its first point of the season, but it wasn't enough as it fell, 6-1 to Milwaukee Saturday.

Morgan Brower won the lone point in a tiebreak at No. 3 singles as she topped Hayley Marshall, 2-6, 7-6 (5), 12-10.

Senior Iasmin Rosa came close to winning at No. 1 singles, but fell short in the third set, 6-4, 2-6, 3-6.

Freshman Isabella Chela also split sets at No. 6 singles, 6-1, 6-7 (4), 0-10.

The Jacks return to action Sunday as they face Cardinal Stritch in Milwaukee, Wis.
