South Dakota State's track and field team will travel to the Lillibridge Track Complex in Vermillion, S.D., for a dual meet with the University of South Dakota on Saturday.

Field events are set to begin at 11 a.m. with the women's hammer throw and pole vault. Track events will begin at 1 p.m. with the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase followed by the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase.

South Dakota State and the University of South Dakota track teams are partnering with the River City Domestic Violence Center in Yankton, S.D., to support sexual assault awareness month. Student-athletes from both programs will be wearing teal wristbands and employees of the River City Domestic Violence Center will be handing out informational materials and answering questions.

Rachel King set a new school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Stanford Invitational last weekend, finishing in 10:14.08 which ranks fifth in NCAA Division I this season.
Joel Reichow currently ranks 20
th in the country in the 10,000-meter run after finishing the event in 28:56.24 at the Stanford Invitational.
Kasie Vollmer recorded a big discus throw at the SMSU Mustang Open last weekend, throwing a distance of 168-06, which currently sits at 38
th in the country.
Bryant Courter is currently tied for 41
st nationally in the long jump with a distance of 24-03.75.
Josh Dotson ranks tied for 47
th in the triple jump after moving in to second on the top-10 list with a mark of 49-08.75 last weekend.

Part of the team will travel to Iowa City, Iowa, to compete in the Jim Duncan Invitational Apr. 14-15, while some team members will travel to Walnut, Calif., to compete at the Mt. SAC Relays Apr. 13-15.
