Dallas Goedert (Philadelphia Eagles) SDSU: 2014-17
Weekly Notes: Goedert played in 35 offensive snaps and caught both of his targets for 16 yards with a long of 11 yards in the 23-21 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoon.

Goedert saw his first catch in the early stage of the second quarter, catching a short pass left for five yards on a second-and-eight play inside the Vikings' 20-yard line. Eventually the Eagles would kick a field goal to tie the game at three all.

Later in the quarter, Goedert would grab another one from QB Carson Wentz - another short pass left that Goedert took for 11 yards and a first down before being pushed out-of-bounds. On the ensuing play, Wentz would be sacked and fumble the ball, resulting in a return touchdown for the Vikings - leading 10-3.

Weekly Notes: Vinatieri scored six points going 1-of-2 on field goal attempts and 3-for-3 on point-after attempts as the Colts lost to the New England Patriots on last Thursday night, 38-24.

The placekicker had an opportunity to give the Colts their first points of the game with 1:01 left to play in the opening quarter but missed a 38-yard kick - hitting the left upright from a high snap. With that attempt - his 673rd, he passed Gary Anderson (672) for second-most FG attempts all-time and is behind Morten Andersen (709).

The SDSU alum scored the first points for the Colts, adding a 54-yard field goal that cut the deficit 14-3 with 8:54 left in the first half. Indianapolis would go on to score two touchdowns in the second half, and Vinatieri would tack on both point-after attempts.

He needs just 20 more points to pass Morten Andersen's all-time scoring mark of 2,544 points. At his current pace, Vinatieri should surpass Andersen on that list with the next three to four games.
