After playing 11 games away from the friendly confines of Frost Arena this season, the South Dakota State women's basketball team begins its final regular-season road trip at Omaha Wednesday. Tip is set for 7 p.m. game at Baxter Arena.

SDSU enters Wednesday's game atop The Summit League standings with a 10-1 record and an 18-6 overall mark. The Mavericks are last with a 1-10 league record and are 7-17 overall.

The Jackrabbits won their eighth consecutive game with an 81-58 win over North Dakota Feb. 9. All-Summit League candidate Madison Guebert led four players in double-digit scoring with 19 points.

Omaha looks to snap a three-game losing streak after Western Illinois downed the Mavericks, 79-67, Feb. 9.

Wednesday's game is the 73rd meeting between the Jacks and Omaha. South Dakota State leads the series 42-30 and has won the last three.

Noteworthy
- South Dakota State returned to the Associated Press poll this week, receiving one vote. The last time they received a vote was Dec. 31, 2018. SDSU has received one vote five times this season, starting Nov. 19, 2018.
- The Jackrabbits are 8-3 on the road this season. They are also 73-24 (.752) all-time in Summit League road games.
- The Jacks are 289-100 (.742) all-time since joining The Summit League in 2007-08.
- For the fifth time since joining The Summit League, SDSU is off to a start of 10-1 or better.
- SDSU's eight-game win streak is the longest since the 2015-16 team won eight in a row between Jan. 21 and Feb. 18. The streak ranks 17th in the NCAA. South Dakota State is limiting opponents to 54.0 points per game while scoring 81.0 ppg during the win streak.
- Madison Guebert is shooting 51.7 percent (15-29) from 3-point range in the last five outings. She ranks 13th in the NCAA in 3-point field goals made (73).
- South Dakota State was ranked third in Graham Hays' Feb. 6 espnW mid-major poll.
- Macy Miller has scored 20-or-more points eight times. She averages a team-leading 16.9 points.
- In the last five games, Miller is averaging 15.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists while shooting 51.9 percent from the field and 94.1 percent from the free-throw line.
- State has held 14 opponents to 65-or-fewer points, including seven to less than 50.
- There have been at least three Jackrabbits scoring in double digits 22 times this season.
