With a potential Summit League regular-season title, win streaks, state bragging rights and a Showdown Series point on the line, the South Dakota State women's basketball team hosts in-state rival No. 23/23 South Dakota Sunday. Tipoff for the South Dakota Showdown Series game, presented by South Dakota Corn, is at 1 p.m. in the friendly confines of Frost Arena.

SDSU enters Sunday's game atop The Summit League standings with a 13-1 record and a 21-6 overall mark. The Coyotes are second at 12-1 in league play and are 24-3 overall.

South Dakota brings an 11-game win streak into Sunday's game after avenging its lone Summit League loss with a 73-58 victory over Denver in Vermillion Thursday.

Sunday's game is the 87th meeting between the Jacks and Yotes. South Dakota State leads the series 56-30.
South Dakota Showdown Series
The yearlong Showdown Series, an athletic and academic competition between in-state rivals University of South Dakota Coyotes and South Dakota State University Jackrabbits.

Fans attending the games can donate by swiping their credit/debit cards at "dip jars" located at the concessions stands, or through cash donations at collection sites near arena entrances. Donations also can be made by texting SHOWDOWN to 80077.
Both universities are encouraging their fans and the community to "Get Off the Bench" in support of the overall goal to ultimately provide significant funding to Feeding South Dakota. The color orange represents the fight against hunger, which both university athletic programs have teamed up to support.

- For the second week in a row, South Dakota State received votes in The Associated Press poll with four votes. SDSU has received one vote five times this season, starting Nov. 19, 2018.
- SDSU has a 492-121 (.802) all-time record in home games.
- In Summit League home games, the Jacks are 89-8 (.917) and undefeated in six of 11 seasons.
- The Jacks are 292-100 (.744) all-time since joining The Summit League in 2007-08.
- For the third time since joining The Summit League, SDSU is off to a start of 13-1 or better.
- SDSU's 11-game win streak is the longest since the 2008-09 team won 12 in a row between Jan. 19 and March 20. The streak ranks 10th in the NCAA. South Dakota State is limiting opponents to 53.3 points per game while scoring 79.7 ppg during the win streak.
- Macy Miller has three career double-doubles against South Dakota.
- In the last three games, Tagyn Larson has made 22 of 26 field goals (.846) and is a perfect five for five from 3-point range and three for three from the foul line. She's averaging 17.3 points per game and 7.0 rebounds an outing in three games.
- Madison Guebert is shooting 37.0 percent (10-27) from 3-point range in the last five outings. She ranks 14th in the NCAA in 3-point field goals made (79).
