MARICOPA, Ariz. --Â South Dakota State women's golfer
Teresa Toscano is tied for 13th at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic after the first two rounds Monday.
The Jackrabbits are in a tie for seventh place through the first day, shooting a 593 (302-291) at the par-72, 6,131-yard Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club. UTEP leads the 20-team field, shooting a 586. New Mexico State's Suthavee Chanachai currently sits in first among the 108-player field, firing an 8-under-par 136.
Toscano shot a one-over-par 145 (73-72) with six birdies on the day.
Cassidy Laidlaw had seven birdies in her three-over-par finish of 147 (74-73) and is tied for 17th.
Mia Seeman and
Sydney Bormann are both tied for 33rd, shooting an identical 150 (77-73).
Lani Potter shot an 11-over (78-77=155) and sits tied for 67th.
