STILLWATER, Okla.--South Dakota State battled in Stillwater but came away with a loss at Oklahoma State Friday afternoon by the score of 13-7.

Hayley Kastrup scored an 86 to lead the way for the Jacks in Fences while
Jessica Martinez also earned a point with her ride of 81.
Rachel Darby (74),
Claire Garduno (84) and
Rachel Head (70) also rode in the event as OSU took an early 3-2 lead.

Senior
Jordan Gates scored SDSU's lone point in Horsemanship, tying a career-high with a ride of 76.
Rylee Streit scored a career-best 74 in her ride while
Callyn Fox rode for a season-best score of 66.5.
Kodi O'Boyle and
Emily Keiser both scored a 69.5 in their rides and the Jacks trailed 7-3 to OSU at the halfway point of the meet.

The Jacks excelled in reining, winning the event 3-2 behind points from a trio of freshmen,
Cassandra Townsend (74),
Natalie Gydesen (70.5) and
Morgan Allen (69).
Isabelle Riggs had a strong ride of 73 along with Streit who scored a 68.5.

Martinez scored a 90 on the Flat to earn a point, but OSU won Flat 4-1. Kastrup (81) and Head (80) each had solid rides in the event along with Claire Graduno who scored a 71 and
Rachel Darby with a 67.

The Jacks will hit the road again for a pair of October meets in Martin, Tenn. with an Oct. 10 matchup with UT Martin before a neutral site meet against Delaware State, Oct. 11.
