The South Dakota State women's golf team will host the 11th annual Jackrabbit Invitational in Boulder City, Nev. Monday and Tuesday.
The 14-team field for the 54-hole event will play at the par-72, 6,343-yard Boulder Creek Golf Club with a 9:45 a.m. CT/7:45 a.m. PT shotgun starts both days. Teams will play the Coyote Run course on the front nine and the Desert Hawk course on the back nine.
In addition to SDSU, the field includes: Ball State, Boston College, Creighton, CSUN, Eastern Washington, Idaho State, Loyola University Chicago, North Dakota, North Dakota State, Omaha, Oral Roberts and Toledo.Â
Last year, Teresa Toscano won the event with 71-76-75--222 (+6), while the team finished second.
In its last outing, the Jacks finished in eighth place at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational. Toscano led the Jackrabbits overall tying for 17th with 75-75-73—223 (+7).
