IOWA CITY, Iowa — Leah Hansen helped lead the South Dakota State University women's cross country team to a 13th-place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional Friday at Ashton Cross Country Course.

The sophomore from Willmar, Minnesota finished the 6,000-meter race in 21 minutes and 15.67 seconds for 21st place in a field of 225 runners. Cailie Logue of Iowa State won the race in 20:45.08.
 Cailee Peterson was next for the Jackrabbits, taking 69th place in 21:50.68, while Anna Donnay crossed the line in 21:57.67 for 74th.
 Caitlin Bright took 101st with a time of 22:19.71, Bailey Dergan finished just behind Bright in 22:22.61 for 104th place and Jessica Christoffer completed the course in 22:31.25 for 114th. Claire Beckman rounded out the Jackrabbit runners with a 136th finish in 22:44.66.

The Jacks placed 13th out of 32 teams in the women's race with 365 points and were the top placing team from the Summit League.

Minnesota and Oklahoma State claimed the automatic team qualifications for the NCAA Championship race by claiming the top two spots in the team standings.

The remaining team and individual at-large individual spots for the championship field will be revealed during the NCAA Division I Cross Country Selection Show at 4 p.m. Saturday online through NCAA.com.
