SWIM AND DIVE WELCOMES IOWA CENTRAL CC SATURDAY

For the first time this year, the South Dakota State swimming and diving program returns home for a Saturday dual meet against Iowa Central Community College. Meet start time is slated for 1 p.m. in the Stanley J. Marshall Center Pool. Fans can follow along with the day's action by following @GoJacksSwim on Twitter.
LAST TIME OUT
The South Dakota State women's swim and dive team passed South Dakota 149-92, while the men fell 163-80 in a Friday dual meet in the DakotaDome Pool.Â
Beginning with diving, Zach Boyd finished second in the men's 1m dive with 263.70 points, Erik Thompson finished third with 234.68 and Spencer Fritze finished fourth with 233.85 points.
On the 3m board, Spencer Fritze took gold with 296.63 points, Zach Boyd came in second and 276.60 and Erik Thompson took fifth with 226.88.
Aleni Stoakes took first on the 1m board with a mark of 215.48, Quincee Simonson took bronze with 208.88, Julia Gill tallied 206.10 for fourth and Abbigail Rouse finished fifth with 185.55.
Quincee Simonson came in second with 217.73 points and Aleni Stoakes took third with 217.13. Abbigail Rouse (4th, 215.93 5) and Julia Gill (5th, 203.93) rounded out the SDSU divers.
SDSU 'A' (Kocon, Frigard, Davis, Walz) finished first in a time of 2:01.5 in the 200 medley relay, while SDSU 'B' (Downes, Eckstein, Ocon, Drezen) finished third in a time of 2:04.73. On the men's side, the Jackrabbit 'A' squad made up of Marcus Benson, Quenton Steffen, Cody Watkins and Justin Waller finished in third with a time of 1:51.20.
Zoey Ahrens swam a 9:39.59 to take silver in the women's 800 free. On the men's side Cayden Christianson swam a 8:56.18 to earn second.Â
Emily Pincus picked up her first win of the day with a 200 free clocking of 2:09.30, and later won the 400 free with a 4:37.28 clocking to lead the Jacks.
Also picking up a first place finish, Elisabeth Timmer swam a 26.79 to take first in the 50 free, while Katie Drezen followed with a 27.55 for third. Charles Sieglaff won bronze with a 24.14 in the men's 50 free.
Alyssa Eckstein won the 200 IM with a 2:27.21 marking and Cayden Christianson followed up, also taking first with a 2:09.66.
Kristen Davis took second in a time of 1:04.98 and Liezl Ocon finished third with a 1:07.89 in the women's 100 fly. Cody Watkins swam a 1:00.24 for second, and Cade Schoenauer came in third with a 1:00.63 for the men.
Elisabeth Timmer finished the women's 100 free with a mark of 59.16 and Emma Walz came in third with a 1:00.61 and Alex Kraft took second with a time of 53.54.
Kelsey Kocon (1:05.65) and Sianne Downes (1:06.50) went 1-3 in the 100 back. Marcus Benson finished in a time of 1:00.13 for third place in the men's race.
Samantha Frigard (1:15.32) and Alyssa Eckstein (1:15.82) went 1-2 for the Jacks in the 100 breast, while Quenton Steffen followed with a 1:08.26 for second place.
SDSU 'A' (Sieglaff, Kraft, Murray, Bierschbach) took third in the 400 free relay in a time of 3:37.8.
On Saturday in Omaha, SDSU's 200 free relay of Emma Walz, Emma Bachelder, Grace Witherspoon and Elisabeth Timmer swam a 1:38.62 to take first place, and SDSU's 'B' squad of Kelsey Kocon, Katie Drezen, Emily Pincus and Bethany Bespoyasny took third with a 1:41.56.
Kristen Davis would go on to turn in a time of 2:15.54 for second place in the women's 200 IM and later finished second in the 100 fly with a 59.19 while Alyssa Eckstein (3rd, 1:01.18) followed behind. Finally, she would swim a 2:11.20 for gold in the 200 fly.
Elisabeth Timmer won the 100 free in a time of 52.88 and Emma Walz finished right behind her with a 54.46 clocking, Emma Walz went on to swim a 57.90 for first in the 100 back, and Sianne Downes followed with a 1:00.15 for second.
Elisabeth Timmer picked up her second and third win of the day in the 200 free and the 50 free. In the 50, she swam a 24.70 and in the 200 she turned in a 1:56/17. Katie Drezen followed Timmer in the 50 free, swimming a 24.86. In the 200, Pincus finished second with a mark of 1:58.15.
Pincus would then take first in the 500 free with a 5:15.82 clocking. Zoey Ahrens finished second with a 5:23.98. In the 1650 free, Ahrens won in a time of 18:26.34, and Maria Currie came in third with an 18:49.35.
Samantha Frigard swam a 1:07.73 to pick up a second place finish in the 100 breast.Â
Sianne Downes (2:09.25) and Kelsey Kocon (2:10.54) took gold and silver for the Jacks in the 200 back. In the 200 breast Alyssa Eckstein won with a time of 2:24.43.
SDSU 'A' (Kocon, Frigard, Davis, Walz) finished first with a mark of 3:59.03 and SDSU 'B' (Downes, Eckstein, Ocon, Bachelder) follows in third with a 4:00.48 in the 400 free relay.
On the boards, Abbi Rouse took second with 221.15 points on the 3-meter board. On the 1-meter board, Abbi Rouse claimed second with 241.19 points and Quincee Simonson picked up third with 232.35. The Jacks would pass the Mavericks, 184-116.Â
