WOMEN'S GOLF FIRST AT JACKRABBIT INVITATIONAL

BOULDER CITY, Nev. – South Dakota State women's golf is in first place after the initial day of play at the 12^th annual Jackrabbit Invitational.

RESULTS

In the 10-team field, the Jackrabbits hold a 36-hole team score of 606 (+30), four strokes ahead of Gonzaga who is in second with 610 (+34).

Teresa Toscano leads the Jackrabbits as she sits in second place in the 53-player field with a two-round total of 149 (+5). The senior carded a one-under 71 in the initial 18 holes. Just one stroke behind is Cassidy Laidlaw in third with 150 (+6). After finishing tried for 17^th after the first round, Laidlaw shot even par to work her way up the leaderboard

Competing as an individual, Alex Kandolin is tied for fourth place with 72-80—152 (+8).

Hester Sicking is tied for 16^th with 156 (+12), including a two-over 74 in the first round. Tied for 21^st is Mia Seeman with 73-84—157 (+13). Lani Potter rounds out the Jacks lineup tied for 23^rd with 80-79—158 (+14).
