NEWTON, Kan. – South Dakota State's
Teresa Toscano and
Mia Seeman have earned all-league honors, the league announced Friday morning before the practice round began for the 2021 Championship at the Sand Creek Station Golf Club.

Toscano was named to the All-Summit League First Team for the third straight year. Additionally, this is her fourth all-league honor as she was an All-Summit League Second Team honoree as a freshman. The senior has put together an impressive spring season, finishing inside the top-10 in all six events she has competed in. Toscano has captured four individual titles, finished runner-up and tied for seventh.

The Huelva, Spain native leads the Jackrabbits and the Summit League with a 71.94 stroke average. Toscano's 73.52 career stroke average also tops SDSU's all-time list. She continued to leave her mark in the record books this season, setting new scoring records with a 64 (18 holes) and 131 (36 holes) to win the Lady Thunderbird Invitational by 13 strokes March 11-12.

Toscano was named Summit League Golfer of the Week on five occasions this season which equals her single-season total from the 2018-19 season when she collected the third most during a single season in league history. She now has 14 for her career, putting her in second and two behind Oral Roberts' Christy Carter, who had 16 from 2006-09.

Mia Seeman was selected to the All-Summit League Second Team. This marks Seeman's first all-league honor in her career. She ranks second on the team with a 76.76 stroke average through 17 rounds this season. She is second on SDSU's all-time list with a 76.21 career stroke average.

Seeman posted four top-10 finishes this season, highlighted by a second-place finish at the Lady Thunderbird Invitational. The junior fired a season-low 2-under 70 in two rounds this season.

Toscano, Seeman and the Jackrabbits will compete at The Summit League Championship April 24-26 at Sand Creek Station Golf Club in Newton, Kan.
