Graduate transfer Chloe Stitt has signed to play her final season of eligibility at South Dakota State for the 2021 fall season, head coach
Dan Georgalas announced Monday. Stitt graduated from Austin Peay this spring with a degree in Agricultural Business.Â

"We are super excited for Chloe Stitt to join our fall 2021 roster," Georgalas said. "As a graduate transfer, Chloe has one season of eligibility remaining and will provide great talent and athleticism to our outside hitter position." Â

Stitt, a 2021 All-Ohio Valley Conference First Team selection, tallied 174 kills in 49 sets to lead Austin Peay and rank sixth among OVC hitters. She posted double-digit kill totals in nine of the Governors 12 matches this season. Stitt recorded 20-plus kills on two occasions, including a career-best 26 kills to lead Austin Peay to a win over Murray State.Â

The Summitville, Indiana native saw action in 29 matches as a junior, tallying 305 kills and 28 blocks. The outside hitter led her squad with 3.24 kills in OVC play, recording 175 kills in 54 sets. Stitt played in 17 matches as a sophomore, posting 44 kills. Â

"Chloe has the ability to score 20-plus kills in a single match and has great experience playing the 6-rotation game," Georgalas said. "She was playing some of the best volleyball of her career in her senior year and we are excited to add her competitive attitude to our program culture."Â

As a graduate transfer, Stitt will be immediately eligible to play for the Jackrabbits.Â
