Myah Selland was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 6 Women's Basketball Team Thursday.

The redshirt junior from Letcher has compiled a 3.97 grade point average in exercise science and community and public health. Selland has recently earned WBCA All-America Honorable Mention honors and was selected to the Academic All-League Team. On the court, she has been named Summit League Player of the Year, an All-Summit League First Team selection and was a finalist for the Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year.

Selland led the Jackrabbits and the Summit League with 19.2 points per game, including 19.5 points per game in Summit League play. She scored 15-plus points in 19 contests, including 20-plus points on six occasions, and registered five double-doubles. She shot 51.5 percent from the field and 32.8 percent from beyond the arc. The redshirt junior added 6.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.3 steals per game. Additionally, Selland was a six-time Summit League Player of the Week and two-time Female Athlete of the Month honoree throughout the season.

Selland will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in late May.
The 2020-21 Academic All-District and All-America programs recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The Academic All-District 6 Team is made up of student-athletes from institutions in Arkansas, Iowa, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming. Candidates must be at least a sophomore in athletic and academic standing, a starter or key reserve on her team and carry at least a 3.3 GPA.
