South Dakota State and Oral Roberts meet Monday night in Brookings to open the 2022-23 Summit League season.Â
The Jacks hold a 7-5 record following a loss to No. 1 South Carolina Thursday night to close the nonconference slate. The Jackrabbits are 4-1 at home this year and 19-1 in their last 20 games at Frost Arena, a streak that dates back to a win over Dakota Wesleyan on December 15, 2021.
Oral Roberts is 3-8 on the year and most recently lost 82-68 to Texas Tech. The Golden Eagles are 1-6 on the road this season.
Monday's game is the 33rd all-time meeting between these programs. SDSU is 26-6 in the series and won all three matchups last season.
These teams last met in the semifinal round of the 2022 Summit League tournament, where the Jacks won 72-53.
