BROOKINGS, S.D. - The South Dakota State women's basketball program released its 2023-24 non-conference schedule Tuesday. The Jackrabbits take on 13 regular-season non-conference opponents, including four NCAA March Madness qualifiers from last season. The team will play six non-conference contests at Frost Arena.Â

SDSU opens the year with a home exhibition against Minnesota-Duluth on November 1. The Bulldogs went 32-4 a season ago and finished as the Division II runners-up. The Jacks officially opens the regular season against Arkansas State November 6 at Frost Arena.Â

State then plays three-straight road games - at Wisconsin (November 14), at UT-Martin (November 18) and at South Carolina (November 20). The Gamecocks went 36-1 in 2022-23 and ended their season at the Final Four.Â

The Jacks then return to Frost Arena for a three-game homestand. South Carolina State will visit Frost November 24, Division II Washburn makes the trip November 28 and Washington State, the defending Pac-12 tournament champion, comes to town December 5.Â

SDSU goes back on the road to play Northern Iowa December 9 and hosts NAIA Dordt December 12. The Jacks play at Gonzaga December 17 and at Creighton December 21.

The Jackrabbits complete their non-conference schedule with two Big Sky-Summit League Challenge contests. SDSU plays at Northern Arizona January 3 and hosts Montana State January 6.Â
