South Dakota State hosts NAIA Dakota State Tuesday night in the final contest of a three-game homestand for the Jackrabbits. It will be the final home game of 2024 for SDSU.
The Jackrabbits are 9-2 on the season with six consecutive wins. The Jackrabbits most recently picked up a mid-major win over Northern Iowa Saturday afternoon behind 18 points from
Brooklyn Meyer.
Dakota State is 8-3 overall with a 2-0 mark in the GPAC as they enter Tuesday night's contest, which will be an exhibition for the Trojans. Like the Jacks, the Trojans have won six consecutive games. DSU is sixth in the latest NAIA coaches poll and is 3-3 against ranked opponents.

- South Dakota State wraps the 2024 home slate against Dakota State Tuesday night. The game is an official contest for the Jackrabbits but an exhibition for the NAIA Trojans.
- The Jackrabbits are 9-2 on the season. Since dropping back-to-back games to now-No. 9/10 Duke and still unbeaten now-No. 17/RV Georgia Tech, SDSU has won six consecutive games. The Jacks have two wins over ranked opponents.

- Dakota State was voted sixth in the lastest NAIA Coaches Top 25. The Trojans enter Tuesday having won six consecutive games.
- Brooklyn Meyer scores 17.0 points per game at a 57 percent clip to lead the Jackrabbits. She is second in rebounding and steals with 5.4 and 1.2 per contest, respectively.
- SDSU is shooting nearly 37 percent from the 3-point line on the year, ranking 27th in the nation. Mesa Byom and Haleigh Timmer are both better than 45 percent from deep this year.
- Haleigh Timmer adds 13.5 points per contest and set a new career-high of 26 points last week.
- Paige Meyer does a little bit of everything, contributing 9.7 points and 3.0 rebounds per game to go with team highs of 4.7 assists and 1.4 steals.
- Dakota State has four players averaging at least 10.0 points per game, led by 13.0 PPG from Tabor Teel. Teel is also the Trojans' leader in rebounding with 8.6 boards per night.
- Following Tuesday's contest, SDSU will close out 2024 on the road at No. 6 Texas Sunday afternoon in Austin. The Longhorns will with the Jacks' fourth ranked opponent of the year.
