THREE JACKS NAMED TO ACADEMIC ALL-TEAM

BROOKINGS, S.D. — South Dakota State cross country is honored with post-season awards following a conference championship sweep, as announced by the conference Wednesday afternoon.
Josh Becker, Will Lohr, and Kayla Christopherson were selected for the Summit League's Academic All-Team. Becker received this honor for the first time, while teammate Lohr made the team for the second time in his collegiate career. Christopherson also made the Academic All-Team for the first time and is the only Jackrabbit from the women's team to take the award this year.
Bargmann Endowed Head Coach Rod DeHaven was selected for Coach of the Year. DeHaven coached the men's team to four top-five team finishes, and assisted the women's team, directed by Alex Muntefering, to five top-five finishes across the 2024 season. DeHaven's hard work spoke for itself as both the men's and women's teams finished the season as conference champions.
Up Next: SDSU hosts its first indoor track and field meet of the season with the SDSU Holiday Invite on Dec. 6 and 7.
