SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - South Dakota State's
Paige Meyer collected her third TicketSmarter Summit League Peak Performer of the Week honor of the season, the conference office announced Monday.
Meyer, a junior, averaged 20.0 points, 5.5 assists and 5.0 rebounds to lead the Jackrabbits to a pair of wins this week. SDSU clinched at least a share of the Summit League regular season title following Saturday's win at St. Thomas.
At Denver Thursday, Meyer went 7-for-13 from the floor and led the team with 17 points and eight rebounds while dishing a pair of assists. Against the Tommies, Meyer narrowly missed a double-double. She recorded 23 points on 9-for-11 shooting from the field and added a game-high nine assists and two rebounds to her stat line.
Paige Meyer joins teammate
Brooklyn Meyer as the only players to earn the Summit League weekly award three times this season. South Dakota State has garnered each of the last three honors and four of the last five.
