VOLLEYBALL RELEASES 2024 SCHEDULE

BROOKINGS, S.D. -Â The South Dakota State volleyball team has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2024 season. The Jackrabbits' slate features four non-conference tournaments before getting into Summit League action.
SDSU opens the season with an exhibition match against the University of Sioux Falls August 23. That contest will take place at Brookings High School as First Bank & Trust Arena renovations are completed.
The Jackrabbits officially begin their 2024 campaign at the Georgia State Invitational in Atlanta August 30-31. SDSU takes on Florida A&M and Georgia State Friday, August 30 and Indian State on Saturday, August 31.
SDSU then heads east for the Western Illinois Invitational in Macomb, Illinois Septemebr 6-7, facing off with Western Illinois and UIC on September 6 and Fort Wayne September 7.
The team will return to Illinois for the Bradley Invitational the following weekend in Peoria. Bradley will host the Jackrabbits September 13, then SDSU takes on Eastern Illinois September 14.
SDSU will wrap the non-conference slate by hosting the Jackrabbit Invite at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls. The Jackrabbits take on Idaho State September 19, Toledo September 20 and Belmont September 21.
The Jackrabbits move into Summit League action beginning September 26 at Oral Roberts. The nine-week volleyball schedule will be a double round-robin format featuring all nine League members. The first serve of the regular season will go up September 26 with matches throughout the season being played Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The regular season comes to an end on Nov. 19 with the championship taking place Nov. 24-26 in Kansas City, Mo.
Tickets for home matches for the 2024 season will go on sale later this summer.
