SDSU WOMEN RELEASE NON-CONFERENCE SCHEDULE

BROOKINGS, S.D. - The South Dakota State women's basketball program released its 2024-25 non-conference schedule Friday.
The Jackrabbits have 12 secured non-conference opponents and will also travel to the to-be-finalized North Shore Showcase in November. SDSU's slate includes five NCAA Tournament qualifiers from last season. The Jacks will host eight non-conference games at the newly-renovated First Bank & Trust Arena.
SDSU hosts St. Cloud State in exhibition action October 30 at First Bank & Trust Arena before officially opening the season at Rice on November 4 in Houston.

The Jackrabbits will play their home opener and first official game at First Bank at Trust Arena against Creighton on November 8. They will then host Wisconsin (November 13) and Duke (November 17) in their next two home games.
SDSU travels to Laie, Hawaii for the North Shore Showcase November 23-26. The opponents for that tournament will be released at a later date. The Jackrabbits also travel to Ball State in Muncie, Indiana on December 1 before returning to First Bank & Trust Arena.
SDSU will play two games in the Big Sky-Summit League Challenge, first against Eastern Washington (December 4) at home and then against Montana (December 7) on the road.
The Jacks host three more home games against Dakota Wesleyan (December 11), Northern Iowa (December 14) and Dakota State (December 17). SDSU wraps its non-conference schedule on the road at 2024 Elite 8 qualifier Texas on December 22 in Austin.

Seat selection for basketball season tickets at First Bank & Trust Arena will take place Sept. 9-13. Single-event ticket sales will be announced at a later date. The department will host a sneak peak event for First Bank & Trust Arena on Sept. 27. The public sneak peek will begin at 5 p.m. which includes tours of the facility. The Friday evening celebration concludes with a short program in the arena at 6:30 p.m.Â
