SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - South Dakota State's
Sylvie Zgonc was named the Summit League Volleyball Offensive Peak Performer of the Week Tuesday by the conference office.
Zgonc, a sophomore, was named MVP of the Georgia State invitational and totaled 56 total kills and 5.60 kills per set this weekend. The Hartford, Wis. native hit .414 against Florida A&M in the season opener and matched the program record with 25 kills in that three-set match. Zgonc also led the Jackrabbits on the defensive end with 3.3 digs per set. Powered by Zgonc, SDSU is 3-0 to start the season for the first time since 2010.

- Notched 13 kills and 11 digs in a sweep over Georgia State and added 18 kills, and a .429 hitting clip to go with eight digs in a four-set win over Indiana State
- Collected the second offensive weekly award of her career
