INDIANAPOLIS— Nine South Dakota State wrestlers are ranked in the top 33 of their respective weight classes in the first coaches' rankings for the 2025 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships.
The coaches' rankings are determined by a vote of 16 coaches in each weight class, with two head coaches from each of the eight conferences. For ranking purposes, coaches may only consider a wrestler designated as a starter at a respective weight class. Wrestlers must have eight Division I matches in the weight class to be considered, with at least one within the last 30 days.
Bennett Berge leads the way for the Jackrabbits, ranked No. 6 in the country at 184 pounds. Berge is 17-4 this year with an 8-3 dual record and six ranked wins.
Drake Rhodes is the other Jackrabbit ranked in the top 10 of his division coming in at No. 9 at 165 pounds. The redshirt sophomore transfer from Iowa is 17-3 this year with a dual record of 5-1. Rhodes' most recent action was his 3-0 showing at the Rider Quad Duals.
Four Jackrabbits are between 10th and 20th in their respective divisions:
Tanner Jordan, 13th at 125 pounds (17-4 record)
Cobe Siebrecht, 19th at 157 pounds (6-4 record)
Cade DeVos, 11th at 174 pounds (12-5 record)
Zach Glazier, 16th at 197 pounds (7-4 record)
