South Dakota State is 8-2-4 overall. The loss Thursday at Denver ended a stretch that saw the Jackrabbits remain unbeaten since Aug. 17 against Kansas. SDSU has three matches remaining in its regular season following Sunday.
State had scored 18 goals in a five-match span prior to Thursday's contest. The Jackrabbits have been paced by a litany of players. Five current Jacks in

Mia Bosch (10) and
MaKynlie Cade (10) all have double-digit point totals. SDSU has benefited from its underclassmen as six freshmen have scored goals this season. That group is among the most at the Division I level.Â
Omaha heads into Sunday with a week break between matches. The Mavericks rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat St. Thomas 3-2 their last time out. They improved to 5-5-4 overall, as well as 2-1-1 in the league, with the win.Â
