South Dakota State travels south to take on Gonzaga Thursday night at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls.

The Jackrabbits are 4-0 on the year, most recently beating Murray State at home (91-60) and picking up a neutral site win against Montana (95-71). SDSU averages 85.8 points per game and is holding their opponents to less than 65 points, on average. Brooklyn Meyer, the reigning Summit League Player of the Week, averages 26.0 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.8 blocks and 3.8 assists per game to pace the Jacks. SDSU has four players averaging at least 10 points.

Gonzaga is 2-2 on the year with its two losses coming to the Atlantic Coast's Stanford and Mountain West's Colorado State. Lauren Whittaker scores 16.5 points and grabs 7.0 rebounds per game to lead the Bulldogs.

Brooklyn Meyer was named to the preseason watch lists for the Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Award and the Lisa Leslie Center of the Year Award. She is also the Summit League's preseason player of the year.
SDSU had four players named to the Summit League's preseason teams. Brooklyn Meyer and Madison Mathiowetz were first-team honorees while Katie Vasecka and Maggie Hartwig landed on the second team.
