ZGONC EARNS FINAL PEAK PERFORMER HONOR

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota State outside hitter Sylvie Zgonc was named the final Summit League Kwik Star Volleyball Offensive Peak Performer of the Week, league officials announced Thursday. Zgonc claimed her second offensive honor of the season.
Zgonc helped lead South Dakota State finish off an undefeated season during the final week of League play. The Jackrabbit junior tallied 29 kills, 4.83 kills per set, and a .411 hitting percentage across a 2-0 week with wins over Kansas City and North Dakota.
The Hartford, Wis., native racked up 18 kills, five digs, and a .400 hitting percentage in a three-set win against the Roos. She then recorded 11 kills with six digs, and a .429 hitting clip in a sweep of North Dakota.
