Brooklyn Meyer collected the latest Summit League Women's Basketball Kwik Star Peak Performer of the Week award, league officials announced Tuesday. The weekly award is the 11th of Meyer's career and her fifth of the season.
Meyer was dominant for the Jackrabbits, pouring in a game-high 31 points on 11-of-17 shooting as SDSU rolled past North Dakota on the road, 99-47. The senior controlled the glass as well, pulling down a game-best 12 rebounds. Nine of her 12 boards came on the offensive end, fueling a 14-6 advantage for the Jackrabbits on the offensive glass.
The outing marked the Larchwood, Iowa, native's second 30-point performance of the season and her fourth double-double this year and 17th of her career.
Meyer followed that performance with 25 points and eight rebounds to cap SDSU's road swing with a 76-63 win at Kansas City, adding four assists and two blocks in the victory.
In league play, Meyer leads the Summit League in scoring (21.3 ppg) and field goal percentage (62.5).
