PHOENIX – The South Dakota State men's golf team is sitting in 23rd place after completing round one and just over half of the second round of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic Tuesday.
The Jacks are +9 as a team with a round and a half remaining.
Ty Adkins is pacing SDSU with a 2-under scorecard. He is in a tie for 24th and tallied nine birdies on the day.
Bryson Mercier is +3 and tied in 47th, followed by
Tyler Seeling tied in 88th (+4).
Jake Olson shot 6-over and is tied in 106th.
Jacob Wilson is tied for 123rd (+13).
Southern California leads the field at 22-under par. Southern California's Luke Stock is in a four-way tie at the top of the leaderboard (-9). The Jackrabbits are competing against five ranked teams this week in Phoenix.
NOTES
- This is the Jacks biggest tournament of the season, featuring 25 teams.
- Bryson Mercier tallied a par score on 22 holes, tied for fifth of all participating players.
