PHOENIX – The South Dakota State men's golf team finished in 23rd place at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic Wednesday at Southern Dunes Golf Club.
The Jackrabbits posted a +26 final team score and tallied 36 birdies on the week. Southern California went 26-under over three rounds to win the team title.
Ty Adkins had the best finish for the Jacks with a +2 final scorecard. He placed in a tie for 53rd tallying 12 birdies.
Bryson Mercier finished tied for 84th, shooting +8 over 54 holes.
Tyler Seeling posted a +11 tally to finish tied for 102nd, followed by
Jake Olson tied for 104th (+12).
Jacob Wilson placed in a tie for 118th (+16).
Southern California had two players finish inside the top ten. Luke Stock and Jack Buchanan tied for third place at -10.
NOTES
- This is the Jacks biggest tournament of the season, featuring 25 teams.
