2017-18: OUTDOOR: Competed in 12 events during the outdoor season ... qualified for the NCAA West Prelims (5/24-26) for the second consecutive year in both the long jump (30th on the declaration sheet) and triple jump (13th on the declaration sheet) ... finished 36th in the triple jump (48-07.50) and 34th in the long jump (23-06.75) at the NCAA Prelims - beating his place-finish in the long jump by one place (35th in 2017) ... recorded a historic Summit League Championship performance (5/10-12), winning both the long jump (26-01.50W) and triple jump (51-11.25w) while placing fifth in the high jump (6-05.00) ... defended his outdoor championship long jump title, winning by 10.75 inches but the mark had an illegal wind for the NCAA and school records (5.7) ... his second-best mark (25-00.00w) is second all-time on the school's top 10 - just four inches from the 2012 school record ... his championships triple jump is the school record, which defended his triple jump title ... increased his TJ PR by 1-08.50 feet ... his illegal long jump would have been a league championship record and his legal mark was 5.50 inches, while his triple jump mark was 1.25 inches from the league record ... his league championship performance help the Jacks sweep the men's championship awards - Courter winning the Championship Field MVP for his second consecutive season (2017 Co-Field MVP & Newcomer) ... won a total of four events (two triple, two long, one of each in the league championships) with one second-place finish out of nine jump events ... competed in the 100m (11.14) and 4x100m relay (43.50) for the first time in his collegiate career at the USD Invite (4/11) ... had the team’s sixth-best 100m (20th in the league), sixth best 4x100m relay mark, third-best high jump (eighth), best long jump (second in the league, 64th in the NCAA), and best triple jump (best in the league, 32nd in the NCAA).
