INDOOR: Competed in seven weight throw events throughout the 2018 indoor season ... he recorded the league’s best weight throw (68-11.75) at The Summit League Indoor Championships (2/23-24) where he won the event and earned his first career all-league honors ... his throw was the indoor championship record, beating the previous-best mark by 1-05.75 feet ... the throw was also the school record ... throughout the season, he reset the school weight throw record four times ... had the league’s season-best throw in the weight for the last four weeks of the season ... he was ranked in the Midwest Region for the weight throw five straight weeks, reaching as high as fourth ... won six out of the seven meets he competed in, including the last five consecutive meets to finish the season ... finished third once (Jim Emmerich - 1/20, 64-02.25) ... had only won one event prior to 2018 ... earned Summit League Co-Athlete of the Week for his performance in the SDSU Classic (2/9-10), where he won the event (68-10.00), reset the school record for the third consecutive week, and ranked 24th nationally ... ended up seven career victories in the weight throw, 13 top-three finishes - including a run of 13 meets dating back to the beginning of the 2017 indoor season where he won seven and finished runner-up another four events, third and fifth once ... ended 2018 with the team’s best throw in the weight throw that ranked as the best in the league and 25th in the NCAA.

OUTDOOR: Competed in nine events ... finished 34th at the NCAA Preliminary Round (5/25-27), posting 198-01.00 ... threw a career-best 199-06.00 in the finals of the hammer throw at The Summit League Championships (5/11-13), placing fifth and recording the best throw in SDSU history ... posted a season-best 151-06.00 in the discus at The Summit League Championships, finishing ninth.
