MINNEAPOLIS -- South Dakota State (0-1, 0-0 Summit League) dropped its spring debut to nationally-ranked Minnesota (2-0, 0-0 Big Ten) Saturday night.
#49 Minnesota swept the Jacks, 7-0.
In #1 singles, Andrea Boglic dropped consecutive sets, 6-2, 6-3 to #17 Leandro Toledo, while Parker Lawley fell to Ruben Weber, 6-2, 6-4. Henrique Pereira and Lovro Curcija also fell to nationally-ranked Golden Gophers as #117 Felix Corwin downed Pereira, while #107 Matic Spec beat Curcija.
Mateus Moreira and Gary Notkin also dropped their respective singles match.
In doubles, the Golden Gophers continued to reign supreme as they swept both matches, 6-0.
The Jacks return to action January 30 at Incarnate Word in San Antonio at 2 p.m.
