BROOKINGS, S.D.—The South Dakota State women's basketball team meets a former North Central Conference opponent Saturday when it hosts the Northern Colorado Bears at 4 p.m. in the friendly confines of Frost Arena.
- SDSU, 5-2, defeated Portland State, 74-65, Thursday for its third home win this season.
- Junior Clarissa Ober registered her second double-double of the season with 19 points and a career-best 13 rebounds to lead the Jackrabbits.
- Northern Colorado enters the game riding a three-game winning streak and with a 5-2 record. The Bears defeated Utah State, 74-60, at home Tuesday.
- It will be the 32nd meeting between the Jacks and the Bears. SDSU holds a 22-9 series record, has won the last five games and sports a 14-1 record in Frost Arena.

- SDSU is 3-1 at home this season with its only loss coming at the hands of No. 3 Notre Dame Nov. 21.

Jacks Extend Win Streak at UNC
GREELEY, Colo.—Dec. 6, 2014—Megan Waytashek led four Jackrabbits in double digits as South Dakota State defeated Northern Colorado, 71-48, in nonconference action at Bank of Colorado Arena.
           Waytashek recorded her second 20-point performance of the season, scoring 20 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field, including 4 of 5 from three-point range, and 4-of-4 shooting from the free-throw line.
           Macy Miller registered then-career highs with 13 points and 6 assists. Chynna Stevens added 11 points and Mariah Clarin added 10 second-half points.
           The Jackrabbits shot 50 percent from the field in the second half and was 20 of 21 from the foul line for the game. They also outrebounded the Bears, 43-29.
           SDSU used a 14-0 run to start the game and never trailed. Northern Colorado got as close as nine points early in the first half, but the Jacks took a 31-20 lead into halftime.
