BROOKINGS, S.D.—The South Dakota State women's basketball team continues its three-game homestand Thursday when it hosts IUPUI at 7 p.m. in the friendly confines of Frost Arena.
- SDSU sits tied atop the latest Summit League standings with records of 14-4 overall and 4-1 in league play. It is ranks eighth in the latest College Insider Mid-Major poll.
- Summit League Player of the Year candidate Macy Miller led three Jackrabbits in double digits with 20 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the field and 5 of 5 from the free throw line in a 63-58 loss to South Dakota Jan. 17.
- IUPUI improved to 13-5 overall and 4-1 in Summit League play after defeating North Dakota State, 67-44, Jan. 16. The Jaguars have won five of their last six games, including their last three. Their lone loss in the stretch was vs. Oral Roberts Jan. 3, 52-47.
- Thursday's game marks the 19th meeting between South Dakota State and IUPUI. SDSU leads the series 14-4 after splitting the regular-season games last year.
Noteworthy
- Of its eight Summit League opponents in the last eight years, SDSU has one loss each to Denver, Fort Wayne, South Dakota and Western Illinois. The most losses have been to Oral Roberts (6), including four on the road, since 2007-08.
- SDSU is 7-2 at home this season with its losses coming at the hands of No. 3 Notre Dame Nov. 21 and South Dakota Jan. 17.
