BROOKINGS, S.D.—The South Dakota State women's tennis team concludes its eight-match road swing to start the spring season when it travels to Texas this weekend.

"I know after last weekend in Seattle we have some motivated women who really want to step up and make a mark on the season," sixth-year head coach Michael Engdahl said. "Our trip to Texas is the perfect opportunity for us to create positive momentum and play the type of tennis we want to play. We have done a great job improving from match to match and, if we continue to work and build, the results will speak for themselves this weekend."
