BROOKINGS, S.D.—Riding a six-game win streak, the South Dakota State women's basketball team opens a doubleheader with the Jackrabbit men's basketball team hosting Fort Wayne Saturday at 2 p.m. in the friendly confines of Frost Arena.
- Jackrabbit seniors Chloe Cornemann and Gabby Boever will be honored prior to the game.
- Saturday's game will be televised live regionally on Midco Sports Net (626 HD channel, standard channel 26) and on ESPN3 (http://es.pn/1PK7Et4). Tom Nieman will call the play-by-play, Brad Newitt will provide the color commentary and Carla Metts will be reporting from the sidelines.
- The Jackrabbits, 20-4 overall and 10-1 in league play, are tied for first place with South Dakota in the latest Summit League standings.
- SDSU has won its last four home games and 11 of its last 12 games overall, dating to a 58-45 win at Bowling Green Dec. 21.
- All-Summit League candidate Macy Miller led the Jackrabbits with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in the 60-47 win over Oral Roberts Thursday. It was the program's 900th win in 50 years of women's basketball at State.
- Fort Wayne is tied for eighth in The Summit League standings with records of 5-19 overall and 1-10 in league games. The Mastodons enter Saturday's game having lost 13 of their last 14 games, including their last two after falling 71-64 at Omaha Thursday.

- With a win Saturday, SDSU head coach Aaron Johnston would pass former Western Illinois head coach Leslie Crane (1998-2011) for third on The Summit League wins list. Both coaches have 124 Summit League victories. Oral Roberts' Jerry Finkbeiner (1997-2012) had the most league wins with 143.
- Of its eight Summit League opponents in the last eight years, SDSU has two losses to South Dakota and one each to Denver, Fort Wayne and Western Illinois. The most losses have been to Oral Roberts (6).
