BROOKINGS, S.D.—After winning its quarterfinal game Saturday, the South Dakota State women's basketball team takes on sixth-seeded Omaha Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the semifinals of The Summit League Championship at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls.
• If the Jackrabbits win Monday, they will play for their seventh Summit League tournament title in the last eight years.
• All of South Dakota State's Summit League Championship games will air on The Jackrabbit Sports Network with Scotty Kwas and Brad Peterson calling the action. The semifinal games will be seen live on the Midco Sports Network and ESPN3. The championship game will air on ESPNU and WatchESPN.
• All-Summit League honorees Kerri Young and Macy Miller each scored 20 points, shooting a combined 65.2 percent (15-23) from the field, including 62.5 (5-8) percent from 3-point range Saturday. The Mitchell natives also collected 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals.
• The Jackrabbits have won six Summit League Championships in the tournament's history. SDSU is 19-1 overall in the championship.
• SDSU meets Omaha for the first time in The Summit League Championship, and leads the all-time series, 37-29. In the regular-season games this year, the Jackrabbits won 68-58 in Frost Arena Jan. 7, and 65-47 in Omaha Feb. 4.
• SDSU, which finished The Summit League regular season ranking 20th in 3-pointers made, 27th in 3-pointers per game and 47th in scoring margin in the NCAA statistics, sank 11 treys vs. IPFW to post its seventh game with 10-or-more 3-pointers.
• Clarissa Ober tied the SDSU tournament record with four blocks vs. the 'Dons. The center has six games with four-or-more blocks this season.
