GREELEY, Colorado – The South Dakota State men's tennis team lost 5-2 to Northern Colorado Sunday afternoon at the Work-Out West Tennis Indoor Courts in Greeley, Colorado.

In doubles, Jonny Higham and Emerson Styles dropped a close match with a 7-6 (3) loss at No. 1.

Emerson Styles picked up his third win on the season, defeating Connor Finerty, 6-3, 2-6, 7-5 at No. 1 singles.

Elliot Ward captured the second point for the Jacks at No. 6 singles with a 2-6, 6-2, 10-5 decision over Cassell King.

The Jacks travel to Illinois Feb. 18 for matches against Wright State and Northern Illinois.
