 Dallas Goedert (Philadelphia Eagles) SDSU: 2014-17 Weekly Notes: Goedert and the Eagles knocked off division rival New York Giants by a score of 25-22 last weekend with Goedert playing over half of the offensive snaps (36 plays, 55 percent) and catching three of his four targets for 33 yards. Also added 13 special teams plays.

His first catch came on their first play of their drive of the second quarter, down 12-0, catching a short pass on the left side for seven yards. The drive eventually led to 42-yard field goal that gave the team its first points.

His next catch was later in the quarter, down 19-3, after a pass interference call pushed the offense to New York's 32-yard line. The SDSU alum was able to catch another short pass on the right side of the field and rumble for 16 yards - getting halfway to the endzone - and setting up the touchdown pass two plays later to get within 19-11 before the half ended.

On his final catch of the game, Goedert helped the team get out of a second-and-long situation and picked up 10 yards to make it third-and-eight. On the next play, the Eagles picked it up but was eventually forced to punt, still down 19-14.

 Adam Vinatieri (Indianapolis Colts) SDSU: 1991-94 Weekly Notes: Vinatieri chipped in nine points for the Colts' fifth straight win, this time a 27-24 win of the Miami Dolphins. Vinatieri was two-for-three on field goal attempt (making a 32- and 46-yarder) and made all three extra-point attempts.

The game was a close-knit battle with the Colts never having the lead until Vinatieri's 32-yard game-winner as time expired. His other make was midway through the fourth quarter, a 46-yarder that brought Indy with 24-17 in Lucas Oil Stadium.

His lone miss was in the third quarter, attempting a 48-yarder that was short after the offense gave up a 10-yard strip-sack on third down.

 Bryan Witzmann (Chicago Bears) SDSU: 2010-13 Weekly Notes: Witzmann started his third consecutive game for the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving Day, beating the Detroit Lions 23-16. The starting right guard played all 58 offensive snaps (three special teams) and helped the team gain 264 total yards (226 passing, 38 rushing) with their backup QB playing this week.

The Bears averaged 4.6 yards per carry and scored on drives of 53, 65, and 82 yards that totaled 16 of their 23 points.

He had two carries for nine yards, a long of eight, and one target that he caught for four yards.

Zenner also added two special teams tackles - both of them stopping long punt returns from the Bears' returner.

The SDSU alum got his two carries of the game in the second quarter - an eight-yard rush off the right tackle and one-yard attempt to the same side - to kick off their first scoring drive of the game, going up 7-0 with 9:10 left to play in the half.

His catch was on their opening drive of the fourth quarter which led to Detroit tying the game at 16. It was a dump-off pass on first down for four yards.
