Men's Tennis Dropped By Drake

DES MOINES, Iowa - The South Dakota State men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Drake Friday afternoon at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.

SDSU falls to 0-5 on the season.

We have to commend Drake on their performance, they played very well," Ffion Davies said. In regards to our men, we fought very hard and were definitely in there at times. Elliot and Marco really showed that in doubles and Carlos did extremely well in singles. We really lack self belief at the moment and we need to take things into our hand instead of letting the opponent control the match. We need to come out tomorrow fighting and believing in ourselves."

The Bulldogs swept in doubles to capture the point.

Carlos Martinez was the only Jackrabbit close to a win, when he fell 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 at No. 5.
