BOULDER CITY, Nevada—South Dakota State's
Alejandro Perazzo and
Jared Nicolls of the men's golf team are both tied for 17th Saturday at the ninth-annual Jackrabbit Invitational.
Perazzo (74-72-71) and Nicolls (69-72-76) both shot one-over par 217s. Perazzo collected 11 birdies, including five in the final round, while Nicolls recorded 12 birdies in the tournament.
The Jackrabbits finished seventh, shooting a three-round 887 (291-297-299) on the par-72, 7,402-yard Boulder Creek Golf Club. No. 37-ranked UNLV won the 15-team field, firing an 829 (283-283-263). UCLA's Devon Bling was medalist, shooting a 15-under par 201 (67-69-65).
Jacob Otta tied for 55th, shooting a 228 (73-79-76) while
Naqiuddin Fuad registered a pair of eagles and fired a 229 (75-74-80) to tie for 57th.
Max Donohue tied for 79
th (79-87-76=242).
