Carlos Martinez improved to 6-5 on the season, while the South Dakota State men's tennis team fell to Drury, 7-2 Sunday afternoon.

Martinez was once again victorious at No. 6 with a 6-7, 6-4, 10-4 win.

Marco Paulo Castro captured the second point for State with a 6-2, 6-3 decision at No. 3.

Alexander Reinke fell short at No. 2 in a 7-6, 6-2 loss.

Elliot Ward fought a battle at No. 4, dropping a 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 mark.
