South Dakota State Director of Golf
Casey VanDamme announced Thursday that Sioux Falls native Jenna Sutcliffe will attend SDSU and play for the women's golf team.
"Jenna will be a great addition to the team. She is a relentless worker in the classroom and on the golf course. We look forward to her continued improvement," VanDamme said.
A two-time all-state and all-conference selection, Sutcliffe tied for 12
th and helped the O'Gorman Knights to their seventh Class AA team title in 2018. She finished ninth in 2017.
Sutcliffe won the 2017 City Championship and placed second in 2018. She also helped O'Gorman win the 2018 Metro Conference golf tournament, tying for fifth.
Sutcliffe recorded three top-five and five top-10 finishes as a senior.
Sutcliffe won the 16-18 Girls Division at the 2017 South Dakota Golf Association Junior Tournament and was sixth in 2018. She won the 2018 SDGA Junior Southeast Region and the 2018 16-18 Girls Sanford Junior Tour events.
