COLLEGE GROVE, Tenn. – The South Dakota State men's golf team is tied for 11th place after the initial 18 holes of the Intercollegiate at The Grove on Sunday in College Grove, Tenn.

The Jackrabbits recorded a first-round score of 304 (+16) to tie with Tennessee Tech and Mercer. Leading the 14-team field is Tennessee with 284 (-4), while Lamar and Troy are tied for second at 292 (+4).

Jones Comerford leads the way for the Jacks, sitting tied for seventh with a score of 71 (-1). Jonah Dohrer is tied for 37th after firing a 76 (+4) in the opening round.

Harry Duggan ranks third on the Jacks' squad and is tied for 59th overall at 78 (+6). Jack Tanner and Jacob Otta round out the South Dakota State lineup with scores of 79 (+7) and 85 (+13), respectively.
