th place after the initial 18 holes of the Intercollegiate at The Grove on Sunday in College Grove, Tenn.

The Jackrabbits recorded a first-round score of 304 (+16) to tie with Tennessee Tech and Mercer. Leading the 14-team field is Tennessee with 284 (-4), while Lamar and Troy are tied for second at 292 (+4).

Jones Comerford leads the way for the Jacks, sitting tied for seventh with a score of 71 (-1).
Jonah Dohrer is tied for 37
th after firing a 76 (+4) in the opening round.

Harry Duggan ranks third on the Jacks' squad and is tied for 59
th overall at 78 (+6).
Jack Tanner and
Jacob Otta round out the South Dakota State lineup with scores of 79 (+7) and 85 (+13), respectively.

Matthew Schaefer shot an 80 (+8) in the first round.
