IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The South Dakota State men's golf team finished day one of the Hawkeye Invitational in 10th place.
The Jackrabbits shot a 574 (289-285) at the par-71, 6,884-yard Finkbine Golf Course. Iowa sits in first through day one among the 13-team field, shooting a 539. Charlie Hillier of Kansas leads the 74-player field at 10-under (132).
Jacob Otta paces the Jacks sitting at 5-under tied for 9th place, firing a 137 (65-72).
Jared Nicolls is tied for 38th at 2-over, shooting a 144 (76-68).
Jonah Dohrer sits in a tie for 59th shooting a 148 (77-71).
Alejandro Perazzo is in a tie for 63rd at 7-over after shooting a 149 (75-74).
Jones Comerford is tied for 68
th, shooting a 151 (73-78).
In 73rd,
Harry Duggan shot a 159 (80-79) playing as an individual.
