NEWTON, Kan. – The South Dakota State women's golf team finished atop the leaderboard after day one of the Summit League Championship Sunday.
The Jackrabbits shot a 33-over-par 321 in round one. Teresa Toscano leads the 45-player field at 2-over par, shooting a 74.
Lani Potter sits in a tie for 12th after shooting an 81 (9-over).
Mia Seeman and Cassidy Laidlaw are each tied at 22nd at 11-over after each shooting an 83.
Sydney Bormann is tied for 32nd, shooting an 85 to sit at 13-over.
