Jacks in fifth at Mary Fossum Invitational

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The South Dakota State women's golf team sits in fifth place after the first two rounds of the Mary Fossum Invitational on Sunday in East Lansing, Mich.

The Jackrabbits recorded a score of 310 in both rounds for a total of 620 (+44) at the par-72, 6315-yard Forest Akers West Golf Course. Host team, Michigan State, leads the field with 588 (+12) and Western Kentucky is in second at 608 (+35).

Teresa Toscano and Mia Seeman pace the Jacks and are tied for sixth overall at 149 (+5). Toscano carded the top score for the Jacks in the initial round with 74 (+2), while Seeman led the way in round two with the best team score of the day, registering a 73 (+1).

Cassidy Laidlaw is tied for 33^rd with a 36-hole total of 158 (+14). Sydney Bormann carded scores of 80 and 84 to finish the day at 164 (+20). Rounding out the Jackrabbit's lineup is Alex Kandolin with 83-84—167 (+23).
