Women's golf finishes eighth in Georgia

GREENSBORO, Ga. - The South Dakota State women's golf team finished eighth at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational on Sunday in Greensboro, Ga.
RESULTSÂ
The Jackrabbits finished with 311-307-306—924 (+60). Auburn captured first in the 14-field team with 856 (-8), while Mercer finished second with 882 (+18).
After carding an 81 (+9) on day one, Mia Seeman finished the event going 1-over-par 73 in back-to-back rounds to improve 21 spots on the leaderboard, finishing tied for 26th. Also firing a 73 (+1) was Alex Kandolin, who competed as an individual. She finished tied for 48th.
"Mia did a great job of battling back and Alex had a good, steady day," assistant golf coach Maggie Murphy said. "We will get back to work and look forward to competing at our event in Nevada."
Teresa Toscano led the Jackrabbits overall finishing tied for 17th with 75-75-73—223 (+7). Sydney Bormann recorded a three-round total of 237 (+21) to finish tied for 48th.
Cassidy Laidlaw and Lani Potter finished with 238 (+22) and 244 (+28), respectively.
Up Next
The Jackrabbits will be off next week but return to action March 9-10 when they host the Jackrabbit Invitational in Boulder City, Nev.
