South Dakota State announced Wednesday the addition of Liam Georgiadis to the men's golf team.

"Liam is a very talented golfer! We expect him to make an immediate impact," said head coach Casey VanDamme. "He will bring maturity, a great perspective, and work ethic to help our program get to the next level."

Georgiadis was a South Australian Men's State team member in 2016, 2018 and 2019. He was also the 2018 Australian Interstate Series undefeated player.

Georgiadis tied for fifth at the Port Phillip Open and tied for seventh at the Tasmanian Open in 2019. Additionally, he tied for 10th at the 2019 Dunes Medal.

The Adelaide, South Australia native will enroll at SDSU this fall and intends to major in business economics.
