Hayley Kastrup (85) secured points for SDSUÂ in Fences as well. Freshman
Shelby Cochran scored for the Jacks in Horsemanship, as well as
Jadyn Taylor (72).
The Skyhawks came out strong Saturday morning, shutting out State in Flat, but the Jackrabbits would shine in reining.
Natalie Gydesen led the Jacks and picked up her second career MOP when she scored a 72.5. Down the line,
Isabelle Riggs (71) escaped her opponent by half a point, securing the tally for SDSU.
Cassandra Townsend scored after she put up 65.5 points.
By the end of all four events, the score was tied at eight apiece. In total, SDSU scored 1227.5 to UTM's 1224 and were therefore declared winners.
